The Milestone Bluff ( English for milestone cliff ) is a roughly 830 m high cliff with a rocky front and snow-covered back on the Adelaide Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . In the Princess Royal Range it rises immediately west-southwest of Mount Liotard in the south of the island.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it that in 1974 because the cliff was an important landmark for the inland route from the Adelaide station of the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey to the north.
