Milica Pavlovic ( Serbian - Cyrillic Милица Павловић * 11. August 1991 in Einsiedeln , Switzerland ) is a Serbian pop - folk - singer . She became known in 2012 as a participant in the Serbian casting show Zvezde Granda (Great Stars), where she reached eighth place. Her first single Tango was released in the same year .

Life

Pavlović was born in Einsiedeln, Switzerland, in 1991, where her father worked. After her parents divorced, her father was given custody. She was a member of the school choir and took part in music competitions for the first time at the age of about 18. She later moved to live with her grandparents in Gornji Bunibrod near Leskovac . In Leskovac, she attended Aleksandra Radović's pop music school. In 2010 she took part in a radio music competition with her first single, Dođi (Serbian: Come! ).

Career

She made her first steps in the music industry at the Serbian casting show Zvezde Granda from 2011 to 2012. She reached eighth place. Nevertheless, she got a contract with the record company Grand Production and brought out her debut single Tango . This was followed by singles like Alibi , which she published with the help of the rapper Nash . In June 2014 her first album, Govor Tela ( body language ), came out, from which the song Tango was extracted as the first single . In the same year she graduated from university. In 2015 she released the singles Selfie and Demantujem . In the summer of 2016, the song La Fiesta was released with the music video. In December 2016 she released a teaser for her upcoming album Boginja ( Goddess ). It shows excerpts from all seven songs on the album, with the song Još se branim ćutanjem , a duet with the Bosnian singer Alen Islamović, already being released in November. The album was released a few days later.

In June 2018 Pavlovic released the song Kidas me with Aca Lukas as a duet partner . At the end of December 2018 she released her third studio album, Zauvek , which contains eight new songs and also her previous singles Operisan od ljubavi and Kidas me .
