The Balaschow military airfield ( Russian Аэродром Балашов ) is a small military airfield of the Russian Air Force and is located about nine kilometers east of the city of Balaschow in the Saratov Oblast . It is also the seat of the Balaschow Military Aviation Office and the Balaschow Military Aviation School. The base belongs to the Ural-Volga military administration.
In 2009, the base had several Let L-410 , Antonov An-26 and Antonov An-24 aircraft as well as Mil Mi-8 and Mil Mi-14 helicopters .
