Miller Island is an island in the Wilhelm Archipelago off the west coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . In the group of the Wauwermans Islands , it is 1.5 km northeast of Knight Island .
First recorded, but not yet named, it is on an Argentine map from 1950. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1958 after a character from the Canterbury Tales by the 14th century English writer Geoffrey Chaucer .
