The Miller Point is a 250 m high, black rock cape at the Wilkins Coast of Palmer Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is on the north side of the entrance to Casey Inlet .
It was discovered by the Australian polar explorer Hubert Wilkins during an overflight on December 20, 1928. Wilkins named it after George E. Miller (1864–1934), publisher and former editor-in-chief of the Detroit News newspaper . The American polar explorer Lincoln Ellsworth undertook further explorations during an overflight in 1935 and scientists from the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) in 1940 by overflights and sled excursions.
