Milo Addica

Milo Addica (* 1963 in New Haven , Connecticut ) is an American screenwriter and film producer .

Career

Addica's career in the film business began in 2001 when he wrote the screenplay for the drama film Monster's Ball , starring and co-producing. At the 2002 Academy Awards , Addica and Will Rokos received an Oscar nomination in the “ Best Original Screenplay ” category for their artistic achievements on the screenplay . The award went to Julian Fellowes . At the 2001 Satellite Awards , Addica received a Satellite Award for Rokos in the “ Best Original Screenplay ” category . He then wrote the script for Birth with Jean-Claude Carrière and Jonathan Glazer and for The King or the 11th Commandment with James Marsh . He also worked in front of the camera in these works. His involvement in the script for Under the Skin was not mentioned in the credits .
