Milton Adolphus
Irving Milton Adolphus (born January 27, 1913 in New York City , † August 16, 1988 in Harwich (Massachusetts) ) was an American composer.
Adolphus was the director of the Center Music School in Philadelphia from 1936 to 1938 . He then worked in the state administration service. He wrote 13 symphonies (1930 to 1954), orchestral works and chamber music works such as a string quintet and 26 string quartets (1935 to 1964).
