The minaret nunatak is a 2,115 m high nunatak in East Antarctica Victoria Land . It rises 1.5 km west of the Burkett Nunatak from the Monument Nunatakkern .
The northern group of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1962–1963) named it after its external appearance, which is reminiscent of a minaret .
