Mindaugas Petrauskas

Mindaugas Petrauskas (born April 19, 1954 in Kulautuva , Kaunas Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian physicist and politician, Vice Minister .

Life

After graduation from 1961 to 1972 at the school, he gained from 1972 to 1977 the Diploma in Physics and from 1979 to 1983 postgraduate at the Vilniaus universitetas . In 1983 he received his doctorate at the Vilniaus valstybinis universitetas on the subject of "Research into ultrashort light pulses and their indirect interaction with the semiconductors GaAs, CdTe and ZnTe". From 1984 to 1987 he was head of the research sector at the chair for semiconductor physics at VU. From 1988 to 1992 he headed the laboratory. From 1999 to 2000 he was project manager at AB “ Lietuvos telekomas ” and from 2008 to 2009 a consultant and from 2009 to 2012 Vice Minister at the Lithuanian Ministry of Economic Affairs .

He is divorced.
