The Mindoo Phillip Park is a cricket stadium in Castries , St. Lucia and named after the cricketer Francis Mindoo Phillip . It is the home ground of the Windward Islands . In 1978 and 1984 two One-Day Internationals were held in the stadium . The last first-class match took place in 2001. With the completion of the Beausejour Stadium , it became the main cricket stadium in St. Lucia.
Mindoo Phillip Park is also used for soccer games , concerts and carnival events. The Northern United All Stars FC and the Lucian national soccer team compete there from time to time.
The Marchand Football Ground borders to the northwest . It has space for 3500 spectators.
