Ueng Ming-Yih (born July 1, 1952 in Miaoli ) is a former Taiwanese biathlete and cross-country skier .

Ueng Ming-Yih took part in two Winter Olympics in two sports each. At the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck he started cross-country skiing over 15 kilometers and was 73 there. In biathlon he competed in singles and was 50. Ueng ran his second games at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo . In Yugoslavia he started again over 15 kilometers in cross-country skiing and turned 80. In biathlon, the Taiwanese competed in individual and sprint and reached ranks 59 and 63. Besides Shen Li-Chien , Ueng is the only biathlete in Taiwan who has so far participated in the Olympic Games .
