Mingshan (Ya'an)

Location of Mingshan District (pink) within Sichuan.

Mingshan ( Chinese  名 山区 , Pinyin Míngshān Qū ) is a municipality in the prefecture-level city of Ya'an in the central west of southwest China 's Sichuan Province . It has an area of ​​614 km² and has a population of 260,000 (2004). Its main town is Mengyang (蒙 阳镇).
