Baoxing ( Chinese 宝兴县 , Pinyin Bǎoxìng Xiàn ) is a district in the central west of the southwest Chinese province of Sichuan , which belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture -level city of Ya'an . It has an area of 3,114 km² and has about 60,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community of Muping ( 穆 坪镇 ).
