Minicom Advanced Systems is one of the leading manufacturers of digital and analog KVM solutions (keyboard, video, mouse) for efficient out-of-band server management. In addition, Minicom is the market leader for professional audio / video and serial transmission and distribution systems for the digital signage market.

history

Minicom was founded in 1988 in Jerusalem , Israel . Regional companies control the business in Europe and the USA. In addition, there are independent sales teams in Germany, Great Britain, Italy and France. In 2005 Minicom acquired Replicom Ltd., today the research forge for IP technology within Minicom.

Minicom has branches in Dübendorf , London , Kiel , Rome and New Jersey , and is present in over 70 countries worldwide.

In October 2006 it was announced that Minicom had received a capital investment from Intel Capital.

In November 2006, Minicom was ranked 37th fastest growing Israeli technology company in the 2006 Deloitte Brightman Almagor Technology Fast 50 competition. This in turn enabled Minicom to be included in the 2006 Fast 500 EMEA.

KVM

Minicom KVM next product portfolio includes KVM switches and extenders and the devices that control and control of PCs and servers from anywhere over IP allow.

Digital signage

Minicom's display systems distribute the video from a central server to several screens. The data are transmitted via standard Cat-5 cables . Minicom's products occupy the so-called The Last Mile of Digital Signage niche.
