Minna Lammert
Minna Lammert ( February 16, 1852 in Sondershausen - 1921 in Berlin ), also Minna Lammert-Tamm or Minna Tamm , was a German opera singer ( mezzo-soprano ).
Life
Lammert already appeared in church performances and concerts at the age of ten. After taking the necessary singing lessons, she was engaged at the court theater in her hometown, where she made her debut in 1872 as Leonore in Fidelio .
From 1873 to the end of her career in 1896, she was in the Association of the Court Theater Berlin. There she was valued above all as a Wagner interpreter, such as in the roles of Mary in Fliegende Holländer and Ortrud in Lohengrin , but also as Azucena in the Troubadour , as Fides in the Prophet von Meyerbeer and many other roles.
At the first Bayreuth Festival from August 13th to 17th, 1876, she sang Roßweiße and Floßhilde in the Nibelungenring. The other two Rhine daughters were the sisters Lilli and Marie Lehmann .
After her wedding, she also appeared under the name Minna Lammert-Tamm.
