The Minnie River is an arm of the Fitzroy River in the Kimberley region in the north of the Australian state of Western Australia .
geography
The arm of the river branches off from the main river north of the Udialla settlement and flows parallel to it for about five kilometers to the south of the Langey Crossing settlement , with both rivers crossing under the Great Northern Highway , the Fitzroy River at Willare Bridge Roadhouse and the Minnie River about five kilometers west of it . The Fitzroy River describes a hook to the west north of the highway and takes up the Minnie River south of Langey Crossing.
