Minuscule 75 (numbered after Gregory-Aland ), ε 176 ( from Soden ) is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament on 484 sheets of parchment (21.6 × 16 cm). The manuscript was dated to the 12th century using paleography . The handwriting is complete.

description

The manuscript contains the text of the four Gospels . It was written in one column with 19 lines each. The manuscript contains the Epistula ad Carpianum , the Eusebian tables, prolegomena, lists of the κεφαλαια, κεφαλαια, τιτλοι, ammonian sections (Matthew 359, Mark 236, Luke 342, John 232), the Eusebian canon , lessonary markings and pictures. Two sheets of paper were added at the end of the codex in the 16th century.

The Greek text of the Codex represents the Byzantine text type . Kurt Aland placed it in Category V a. It belonged to the text family K x . Lyrically it is close to minuscule 6 .

history

In 1714 the manuscript was donated to the library in Geneva. She was examined by Johann Jakob Wettstein . The manuscript was collated by Johann Martin Augustin Scholz and in 1883 by Caspar René Gregory .

The code is currently in the Bibliotheque Publique et Universitaire (Gr. 19) in Geneva .
