Mira Jadrić Winterhalter

Mira Jadrić Winterhalter (born April 24, 1942 in Banja Luka ; † January 29, 2011 in Sarajevo ) was a Bosnian-Herzegovinian doctor and local politician.

Life

After attending grammar school , she studied at the medical faculty of the University of Sarajevo , where she received her doctorate in 1975. She then worked there as assistant professor, associate professor and finally full professor. From 1981 to 1983 she was Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry and from 1985 to 1998 Vice Dean of the Pharmaceutical Faculty. With the establishment of the medical faculty of the University of Mostar , she worked there as a visiting professor .

In the early 2000s she was the chairwoman of the Sarajevo City Council.

She has written textbooks and a variety of scientific papers.
