The first broadcast of the first season was from 9 November to 14 December 2009 on the British broadcaster BBC Two . The German free TV station Disney Channel broadcast the German - language first broadcast from October 22 to November 5, 2014.

Miranda wants to look more feminine after being addressed as Sir again . Your ex-college sweetheart Gary Preston is back in town and the first misunderstandings arise. This peaked when Gary saw Miranda and her ex-boarding school friends Tilly and Fanny trying on their wedding dresses.

Miranda spends a cooking evening with Gary, where she wants to learn a lot from his cooking skills. However, the whole thing ends in a wild food fight.

The disaster ends on Friday morning when Miranda was supposed to lead a conference as Amanda Barns, but then the real Amanda shows up and the whole hoax is exposed.

Although this date is not without complications, Michael introduces himself as Miranda's official friend the next day.

After Miranda's declaration of love, she tries to avoid Gary. She wants to go abroad, but initially only makes it to a hotel nearby. Gary doesn't want Miranda to go away. Before she can take the train to Scotland, Gary shows up at the station. They kiss passionately for the first time. Suddenly Michael reappears and asks for Miranda's hand. In order not to lose Miranda, Gary also asked for her hand.

Christmas specials

Two Christmas specials have been announced for 2014. They also form the end of the series. It is not known whether it will be broadcast in Germany.

Miranda chooses Gary and accepts his proposal. The first wedding preparations are underway and Gary has cold feet for a short time. Stevie feels neglected as a friend because Miranda doesn't find time for her. Miranda wants Gary to tell her he loves her. He, however, wishes Miranda would trust him more. They separate again.
20th 2 - The final curtain Jan. 1, 2015 - Mandie Fletcher Miranda Hart -
After breaking up with Gary, Miranda's friends and her mother Penny notice changes in Miranda. They organize an intervention out of concern for their wellbeing. Miranda insists that she is fine and that she just wants to find herself. When she learns that Gary has gone to a wedding, Miranda fears he is going to marry the bar's new waitress. Miranda bursts into the wedding, in which Gary only takes part as best man. Gary tells Miranda that he loves her, and they get married in the bar.
