Miriam Bryant (* 8. March 1991 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish Soul - Pop - singer and songwriter .

biography

The daughter of an Englishman and a Finnish woman grew up in Gothenburg . She wanted to become a singer at an early age and took professional lessons. Since the end of 2011 she has been working on her career in the music business. With a friend she wrote several songs, including Finders Keepers . The title became known in Sweden via the Internet. The music industry also became aware: In spring 2012, Miriam Bryant got a record deal with the music label EMI .

Her debut single Finders Keepers was released in summer 2012 (in Germany on January 25, 2013). In early August 2012, Miriam Bryant was voted "Artist of the Week" on MTV Iggy . On YouTube was Finders Keepers (April 2018 version) more than 2.3 million times clicked.

In the Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet , Miriam Bryant was named "# 1 breakthrough artist of 2013". Her debut album Raised in Rain was released on April 26, 2013 and the second single Push Play followed on May 17 of the same year .
