Miriam Dahlke (born February 13, 1989 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). In the state elections in Hesse in 2018 , Dahlke won the constituency mandate in the constituency of Frankfurt am Main II with 24.3 percent of the vote .

Life

Dahlke grew up in Rödelheim and finished her schooling in 2008 at the Liebigschule in Frankfurt-Westhausen with the Abitur and then completed a dual degree in business administration . From 2011 until her election to the state parliament in 2018, she worked as an employee of the German Society for International Cooperation . Her employment relationship has been suspended since then. In 2014 she completed her part-time master’s degree in economics at the University of Hagen .

In 2011 Dahlke became a member of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen. She took part in the local elections in 2016 and was elected to the local advisory board of the Frankfurt district center-west. There she took over the chairmanship of the Greens.

In 2018, at the suggestion of Marcus Bocklet , she ran for the direct mandate in the Frankfurt Main II constituency and was surprisingly able to prevail against the competitors of the CDU and SPD.
