Miriam Zeimet (* 21st December 1978 as Miriam Bauer ) is a former German biathlete .
Miriam Zeimet started in 1998 under her maiden name Miriam Bauer at the Biathlon Junior World Championships in Jericho . There she came third-best German with a shooting error in the sprint to seventh place. Then she was also used in races of the Biathlon European Cup . Zeimet achieved her best result on February 18, 2000 when she was second in an individual behind Sylvie Becaert .
Her name has been Miriam Zeimet since her wedding. She is active as a trainer at WSV Schömberg .
