Sylvie Becaert (born September 6, 1975 in Lille ) is a former French biathlete .

Becaert had her most successful season in biathlon in 2002/03 , when she finished third in the overall standings in the World Cup and won the Sprint World Cup . At the 2003 World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk , she won the gold medal in the sprint.

At the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin Becaert won the bronze medal with the French relay behind the victorious Russian team and the German relay. In 2007 she won the silver medal at the World Championships in Antholz , also with the relay.

At the 2009 Biathlon World Championships in Pyeongchang , South Korea , she won the gold medal with the mixed relay.

Together with Marie Dorin , Marie-Laure Brunet and Sandrine Bailly , Becaert won the silver medal in the relay competition of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.

She is in a relationship with the Italian biathlete René-Laurent Vuillermoz , they have a daughter.

The Sylvie Becaert biathlon stadium is named after her.
