Anna Ivanovna Bogali-Titowez ( Russian Анна Ивановна Богалий-Титовец ; born June 12, 1979 in Woschega , Vologda Oblast ) is a former Russian biathlete .
She lives in Murmansk and also trains with the Dinamo Murmansk club there . She is a trained police officer, but is currently studying. She started biathlon in 1991 and won her first World Cup in the 2003/2004 season.
As a starting runner, she laid the foundation for victory with the relay (4 × 6 km) at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Cesana San Sicario against the German biathletes who were favored with them.
The 2006/2007 season was their weakest World Cup season so far. She did not get above rank 41 in the overall World Cup. In the individual races, she only got two twelfth places. At the Biathlon World Championships 2007 in Antholz , she ended her season prematurely after a 51st place in the sprint and the disappointing 7th place in the relay.
Together with Svetlana Slepzowa , Olga Medwedzewa and Olga Saizewa , Bogali-Titowez managed to win the relay competition of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
