Luiza Noskova , born Tscherepanowa ( Russian Луиза Николаевна Носкова previously Черепанова * 7 July 1968 in Labytnangi in the autonomous district of Yamal-Nenets the former Soviet Union ) is a former Soviet and Russian biathlete and Olympic champion.
Luisa Noskowa began biathlon in 1985 and, like Albina Achatowa, was trained by Leonid Gurjew and her father Chamit Achatow . She celebrated her first successes in international competitions under her maiden name Tscherepanowa. As a participant in the Biathlon World Championships in 1989 in Feistritz an der Drau , she won the team competition together with Natalja Prikastschikowa , Svetlana Davydowa and Jelena Golowina . In the individual over 20 km, she took fourth place. Also in 1989 she took part in the Universiade in Sofia and was successful in Borovets with two victories. She won the gold medal in both the 7.5 km sprint and the 3 × 7.5 km relay.
It was not until 1994 that Noskowa was able to prevail again in the strong Russian team. She was nominated for participation in the 1994 Winter Olympics by Lillehammer and started in all three competitions. At the beginning, she was tenth in the individual competition. 39th place in the sprint was disappointing for her, but two days later she achieved the greatest career success. In the line-up of Nadeschda Talanowa , Natalja Snytina , Noskowa and Anfissa Reszowa as the final runner, she won the 4 × 7.5 km with the Russian relay. Noskowa started again at a world championship, in 1994 in Canmore , where only the non-Olympic team race was held, but the Russian team with Natalja Snytina, Jelena Belowa and Nadezhda Talanova had to give up the race.
Noskowa achieved a few top ten placements in the World Cup, but she did not succeed in winning an individual competition or on the podium. In 1995 she became Russian champion in summer biathlon, in 1997 European champion in individual.
Noskowa is married and in 1994 was honored with the “Honored Master of Sport” award with the Order of Friendship of Peoples . In the same year she finished her training at the Тюменский государственный сельскохозяйственный институт ( Tyumen State Agricultural Institute ). She lives and works in Tyumen , where she held an apprenticeship at the Тюменский государственный университет, Физический Факультет ( Faculty of Sport at the Tyumen Public University ). She is now the Deputy Director of the Department of Sport and Youth Policy in Tyumen Oblast .
