Dsinara Alimbekawa took part in international competitions for the first time as part of the Junior World Championships 2011 in Nové Město . She reached 21st place in the sprint and 11th place in the relay. In the next season she started in two sprint races of the IBU Cup . At the Junior World Championships in Kontiolahti , she reached eighth place in the sprint and fell back to tenth place in the pursuit race. She was ninth in the relay race.
In 2014 Alimbekawa took part in the Junior European Championships and finished 7th in the relay. In the next year, the relay could win at the Junior World Championships in their home country. In the sprint race she just missed a medal with a 4th place.
In the 2015/16 season Alimbekawa started regularly in the IBU Cup and reached 52nd place in the overall standings. In this season she also took part in the European Championships in Tyumen and reached, together with Wiktar Kryuko , in the single mixed relay, the ninth place. In the following season she was able to improve to 26th place in the IBU Cup overall ranking. In the first race of the season she also achieved her first podium with a second place.
After two World Cup appearances in the previous seasons, Alimbekawa started more regularly in the World Cup in the 2017/18 season . With a 33rd place in the sprint, she was able to achieve her first World Cup points. With a 35th place in the individual, she succeeded again a month later. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , she won the gold medal in the women's relay race together with Nadseja Skardsina , Iryna Kryuko and Darja Domratschawa . In the individual race she finished 56th.
After the Olympic Games Alimbekawa started again in the World Cup and reached 32nd place in the last sprint of the season. In the overall standings she reached 74th place.
