The list of Olympic champions in biathlon lists all winners as well as the second and third placed biathlon competitions at the Olympic Winter Games , broken down by men and women and the individual competitions. In the further part, all biathletes who have been Olympic champions at least once are listed.

Competitions

Men

Mass start competitions in Turin 2006

Since the Olympic Winter Games in Turin, the men's biathlon competitions have included the following five disciplines:

  • 20 km individual since the 1960 Games with fourteen competitions.
  • 10 km sprint since the 1980 Games with nine competitions.
  • 12.5km pursuit since the 2002 Games in three competitions.
  • 15km mass start since the 2006 Games with two competitions.
  • 4 × 7.5 km relay since the Games of 1968 with twelve competitions.

A total of 76 gold medals were awarded at the Winter Games.
