The list of Olympic champions in gymnastics provides an overview of all medal winners in the apparatus gymnastics competitions at the Summer Olympics . Due to the large amount of data, it is divided into four sublists.

• All male medal winners since 1896 are listed under “ All medal winners ”, divided into competitions that are part of the current competition program and competitions that are no longer held.
• All female medalists since 1928 are listed under “ All medal winners ”, also broken down according to current and no longer held competitions.
• The list “ The most successful participants ” shows all athletes who have won at least two gold medals.
• The list of “national rankings ” contains the medal table, broken down according to the total number of medals won and according to gender.
