The list of Olympic champions in water diving shows all winners as well as the second and third places of the competitions in water diving at the Summer Olympic Games , broken down by gender and discipline. In the further part the ten most successful Olympic medalists are listed. The conclusion is the nation ranking (also broken down into men and women).
Diving has been Olympic since 1904. There were two men's disciplines on the program in St. Louis. The first women's competition was in Stockholm in 1912 . carried out. Synchronized jumping has also been an Olympic event for men and women since 2000.
The most successful male jumper is the American Greg Louganis , who won four golds and one silver between 1976 and 1988. Among the women, the Chinese Wu Minxia is most successful with a total of five gold, one silver and one bronze medal, which she won between 2000 and 2016.
