Mark Lenzi
Mark Edward Lenzi (born July 4, 1968 in Huntsville , Alabama , † April 9, 2012 in Greenville , North Carolina ) was an American water diver .
Lenzi began diving at Indiana University in 1986 and was runner-up in Perth in 1991 on the 3-meter board. At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona , Mark Lenzi was the only one who managed to break the dominance of the Chinese jumpers and became Olympic champion. At the 1996 Atlanta Games , Lenzi won the bronze medal.
After retiring from competitive sports, Lenzi worked as a trainer at Indiana University. Suffering from low blood pressure, he died of a fainting attack.
