Jelena Nikolajewna Miroschina ( Russian Елена Николаевна Мирошина ; born June 5, 1974 in Moscow ; † December 18, 1995 there ) was a Russian diver . She jumped for the Spartak Moscow club in the 10 m high diving. Miroschina won medals at the Olympic Games, world and European championships.

Miroschina won her first international medal in 1987, when she was just 13 years old. At the European Championships in Strasbourg , she was European Tower Champion. The following year she took part in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul for the Soviet Union . At 14, she was the youngest female diver in the Games. In diving she reached sixth place. At the European Championships in Athens in 1991 Miroschina was able to repeat her European title from the tower. In the same year she also won the silver medal at the World Cup . Miroschina achieved her greatest sporting success at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona . She won silver from the tower for the United Team .

In the following years there were no further sporting successes. After Miroschina became pregnant in 1995, she ended her active career. In December 1995, her body was found under her window on the fifth floor. The exact circumstances of her death remained unclear.
