Tobias Schellenberg (born November 17, 1978 in Leipzig ) is a former German diver .

He started for the Berlin TSC in 2006 , the years before that for the SC DHfK Leipzig and won a total of 18 German championships on the 1-meter and 3-meter board, as well as in synchronized jumping on the 3-meter board. In addition, he was voted Jumper of the Year in Leipzig twice.

Internationally he was able to achieve the greatest successes in synchronized jumping with his partner Andreas Wels . Her first big success was winning the title at the European Championships in Helsinki in 2000 , which she repeated in Budapest in 2006 . Her greatest success, however, was the silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens . A year later they were able to defend this place at the World Championships in Montreal . In addition, there are EM silver in 2002 and World Cup bronze in 2003 in Melbourne and 2007 in Montreal.

In singles, the bronze medal from the 1-meter board at the 2004 European Championships in Madrid was his greatest success.

In 2008 he ended his active career. Schellenberg has had a son since August 2005, has been married to the former diver Olivia Maresch since 2007 and lives in Berlin.

On March 16, 2005, he received the Silver Laurel Leaf for his sporting success .
