Anastassija Jurjewna Posdnjakowa ( Russian Анастасия Юрьевна Позднякова ; born December 11, 1985 in Elektrostal ) is a Russian diver . It starts in the disciplines of artificial jumping from the 1 m and 3 m board and in 3 m synchronized jumping.

Posdnyakova took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 and won the silver medal in the 3 m synchronized competition together with Julija Pachalina . In the same year they won gold together at the 2008 European Championships in Eindhoven and a year later bronze at the 2009 World Championships in Rome . Her first individual medal reached Posdnjakowa at the European Championships in Budapest in 2010 , where she won bronze from the 1 m board and silver from the 3 m board. Together with Swetlana Filippowa , she was also third in the 3 m synchronized competition.

Posdnyakova lives and studies in the USA at the University of Houston . She starts for the university's sports team, the Houston Cougars .
