Peter Graham Waterfield (born March 12, 1981 in Walthamstow ) is a British diver . He starts for the Southampton Diving Club in the disciplines 1 m and 3 m art, 10 m tower and synchronized jumping.

He took part in three Olympic Games . In 2000 in Sydney he finished fourth in the 10 m synchronized jumping with Leon Taylor , in 2004 the duo won the silver medal in Athens , in 2008 in Beijing he reached 13th place in the 10 m high diving, making Waterfield the first British Olympic medalist since Brian Phelps in 1960 .

At FINA World Championships Waterfield took part for the first time 1,998th At the 2005 World Championships in Montreal , he won the bronze medal in the 10 m synchronized jumping. He achieved another good placement with a fourth place on the 1m board in 2009 in Rome . Waterfield was also able to win medals at the European Swimming Championships. In 1999 in Istanbul and 2000 in Helsinki he achieved the bronze medal in the 10 m synchronized jumping.

In the 10 m high diving he won gold at the Commonwealth Games in 2002 and silver in 2006 . He was also able to win three titles at British Championships.

Since 2011, Waterfield has been jumping in 10 m synchronized competitions together with tower world champion Thomas Daley . The duo are set to jump for medals together at the 2012 Olympic Games in London .
