Luo Yutong ( Chinese  羅玉通 , Pinyin Luo Yutong * 6. October 1985 in Huizhou ) is a Chinese diver . He starts in artificial jumping from the 1-meter and 3-meter board and in 3-meter synchronized jumping. He is trained by Liu Henglin.

Luo Yutong came to a state sports school at the age of eight, where he learned to dive professionally. After early successes at the World Cup and national championships, he made his international breakthrough in 2007. At the 2007 World Cup in Melbourne , he won gold from the 1-meter board. As a result, he was unable to qualify for the 2008 Olympic Games and the 2009 World Cup within the Chinese team , but won silver in artificial jumping from the 3-meter board at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou and gold in 3-meter synchronized jumping with Qin Kai . The duo also won the gold medal at the 2011 home world championships in Shanghai . At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London he also competed with Qin in synchronized jumping from the 3-meter board. With 477.00 points they won the gold medal by a large margin.
