Wang Xin ( Chinese  王鑫 , Pinyin Wáng Xīn ; born August 11, 1992 in Wuhan , Hubei ) is a Chinese water diver . She takes part in individual and synchronous competitions from the 10-meter tower. Her greatest success is the gold medal in synchronized jumping from the tower at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . She is trained by Zhao Wenjin .

At the Asian Games in 2006 , which took place in Doha , Wang Xin won the gold medal in the individual competition from the 10-meter tower. A year later, at the Swimming World Championships in Melbourne in 2007 , she could also achieve gold in this competition. Wang was named to the Chinese squad for the 2008 Summer Olympics in his home country . She was allowed to start in the individual and synchronous competition . Wang Xin won the bronze medal in singles. Together with Chen Ruolin , she took first place in synchronized jumping and won the gold medal. At the 2009 World Swimming Championships in Rome, Chen Ruolin and Wang Xin won the synchronized competition from the tower.
