Lao Lishi

Lao Lishi ( Chinese  勞麗 詩  /  劳丽 诗 , Pinyin Láo Lìshī , Jyutping Lou 4 Lai 6 Si 1 ; born December 12, 1987 in Zhanjiang ) is a former Chinese diver . She once took part in the Olympic Games and won two medals.

In 2002, Lao won the gold medal in high diving at the Asian Games . At the 2003 World Swimming Championships she won the gold medal in synchronized jumping. At the age of 17, Lao Lishi took part in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens . There she started in the individual and synchronous competition from the tower. In the individual competition, Lao won the silver medal with 576.30 points behind the Australian Chantelle Newbery (590.31 points) and in front of her compatriot Loudy Tourky (561.66 points). In the dubbing competition, Lao Lishi started together with Li Ting . The two won the gold medal with 352.14 points ahead of the Russians Natalija Goncharova and Julia Koltunowa (340.92 points) and Blythe Hartley and Émilie Heymans from Canada (327.78 points).
