Meaghan Benfeito (born March 2, 1989 in Montreal ) is a Canadian water diver . She starts both in artificial jumping from the 1-meter and 3-meter board and in 10-meter tower diving. She jumps with Jennifer Abel in 3-meter synchronized competitions and with Roseline Filion in 10-meter synchronized competitions . She is trained by Cesar Henderson.

Benfeito took part in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing in part. In the 10 m synchronized jumping she was seventh with Filion. At the 2005 World Championships in Montreal she won the bronze medal with Filion in the 10-meter synchronized competition. In 2007 in Melbourne and in 2009 in Rome , the duo finished fourth, and in 2011 seventh in Shanghai . In 2009 and 2011, Benfeito also finished fourth on the 10-meter tower, her best individual results at world championships to date. The bronze medal was won by Benfeito with Filion in the 10 m synchronized jumping at the Commonwealth Games 2006 in Melbourne and with her former partner Kelly MacDonald in the 3 m synchronized jumping at the Pan American Games 2007 in Rio de Janeiro . At the Pan American Games 2011 in Guadalajara , Benfeito won bronze in the individual from the tower and silver with Filion in the 10-meter synchronized jumping. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she won another bronze medal in the 10-meter competition.

In 2009 Benfeito won a competition for the first time as part of the FINA Diving Grand Prix. She is a multiple Canadian champion.
