Troy Matthew Bek Dumais (born January 21, 1980 in Oxnard , Ventura County ) is an American water diver . He starts for the Woodlands Diving Team in the disciplines of artificial jumping from the 1-meter and 3-meter board as well as in 3-meter synchronized jumping. Dumais is a multiple medalist at World Swimming Championships and Pan American Games .

So far he has participated in three Olympic Games . In jumping from the 3-meter board, he finished sixth in 2000 in Sydney , 2004 in Athens and 2008 in Beijing . In 2000 he was fourth in the 3-meter synchronized jumping with David Pichler and in the same competition in 2004 with his brother Justin Dumais again sixth.

He won his first international medal at the 1998 World Cup in Perth , where he won silver from the 1-meter board. At the 2005 World Championships in Montreal he won silver in jumping from the 3-meter board and, together with his brother Justin, bronze in the 3-meter synchronized jumping. In 2009 in Rome , Dumais was able to repeat his silver medal from the 3-meter board. With his new partner Kristian Ipsen he also won silver in the 3 m synchronized jumping.

At the Pan American Games, Dumais won a total of six medals between 1999 and 2011, including a gold medal in 2007 in Rio de Janeiro .

Dumais won 33 titles in national championships. In 1997, 2006 and 2009 he was named Diver of the Year by the US Federation. In 1995 he became two-time junior world champion.
