Since 2006, Hausding has also competed with senior citizens nationally. In the hall he won silver from the tower twice that year, in the individual as well as in the synchronous competition. In this competition he also won silver at the outdoor championships. In 2007 he won his first title on the 3-meter board indoors. Silver was added from the 1-meter board. Further titles followed in the open-air championships in 2007. Hausding was first in the synchronized competitions from the tower and the 3-meter board. In the individual competition, he also won silver from the 3-meter board. In 2008 another title in synchronized jumping as well as third places in individual and synchronous from the 3-meter board was added in the hall. Hausding has also competed internationally in the senior sector since 2008. In the Beijing World Cup he was second in tower synchronized jumping, but he celebrated his greatest success at the European Championships in Eindhoven . Due to its success, Hausding was nominated for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. In Beijing, he and his partner Sascha Klein won the silver medal in synchronized jumping from the tower, behind the outstanding Chinese Lin Yue and Huo Liang , but ahead of the Russians Gleb Galperin and Dmitri Dobroskok , who failed during the competition. Hausding finished eighth in the individual competition from the 3-meter board. At the European Championships in 2009 , he won gold in the 10-m synchronized competition and bronze in the individual from the 10-m tower and thus his first individual medal. At the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai , the duo Hausding / Klein was able to win their first World Championship medal with silver in the 10 m synchronized jumping, in the 3 m synchronized jumping, however, Hausding and Stephan Feck finished fifth at the 2009 World Championships again.
