Jun Hoong Cheong (born April 16, 1990 ) is a Malaysian water diver who competes in art and tower diving as well as synchronized diving.

Cheong played her first international title fights at the Junior World Championships 2006 in Kuala Lumpur . She came eighth on the 3-meter board. Two years later she reached sixth place at the Junior World Championships in Aachen in the 3 m synchronized jumping. Cheong finally made his adult debut in 2007 and took part in the World Cup in Melbourne , where he was eliminated from the 10-meter tower after the preliminary fight. She achieved her first successes in 2010. At the Commonwealth Games in Delhi she was tenth on the 1-meter board and fifth with Traisy Tukiet in the 10-meter synchronized jumping competition. Cheong also started at the Asian Games in Guangzhou . There she was able to win her first international medal with bronze from the 1-meter board.

Cheong took part in the 2011 World Cup in Shanghai . However, she was eliminated from the 1-meter and 3-meter board after the preliminary fight. She was able to achieve a quota place for the Olympic Games in the same place at the 2012 World Cup in London from the 3-meter board in the individual and with Pandelela Rinong Pamg in the synchronized competition.
