Yevgeny Vladimirovich Kuznetsov ( Russian Евгений Владимирович Кузнецов ; born April 12, 1990 in Stavropol , Russian SFSR , USSR ) is a Russian water diver . He competes in artificial jumping from the 1 m and 3 m board as well as in 3 m synchronized jumping.

At the European Championships in Budapest in 2010 , Kuznetsov won his first international medal with bronze from the 3 m board. The following European Championship in 2011 in Turin was even more successful , where he won gold from the 1 m board and together with Ilya Sakharov in the 3 m synchronized jumping and bronze from the 3 m board.

Kuznetsov took part in the 2009 World Cup in Rome for the first time , but could not qualify for a final. However, he succeeded in 2011 in Shanghai . On the 1-meter board he finished seventh in the final and on the 3-meter board he was able to win bronze. Kuznetsov and his compatriot Sakharov, who won silver, were the first jumpers to leave a Chinese behind at this world championship. In the 3-meter synchronized jumping, he also won the silver medal with Sakharov.
