European Diving Championships 2012

The European Diving Championships 2012 were held from May 15 to 21, 2012 in Eindhoven , the Netherlands . The organizer was the Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN), the venue was the Pieter van den Hoogenband swimming stadium. The title fights should initially take place as part of the European Swimming Championships , with the competitions in pool and synchronized swimming in Antwerp and water jumping in Eindhoven. After Antwerp withdrew and the pool competitions were reassigned to Debrecen , the diving competitions took place as independent continental championships.

Eleven competitions were held, each for women and men jumping from the 1-meter and 3-meter board, diving from the 10-meter tower and 3-meter and 10-meter synchronized jumping. There was also a team competition in which pairings of a woman and a man competed against each other.

Anna Lindberg confidently defended the title from the previous year and won her sixth European Championship gold medal. Uschi Freitag won her first international medal in an individual competition with silver.
