The 3rd European Swimming Championships took place in Paris from 23 to 30 August 1931 and were organized by the Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN). The venue was the Piscine des Tourelles .

The 1931 European Swimming Championships included competitions in swimming , art and high diving, as well as the men's water polo tournament.
