European water polo championship 2008

The 2008 European Water Polo Championship took place from July 4th to July 13th in Malaga , Spain .

Twelve teams played for men and 8 for women for the European championship. The European Women's Championship took place from July 5th to July 12th.

The winner among the men's tournament participants was Montenegro and the women's tournament was Russia .
