The 13th European Swimming Championships took place in Vienna from August 18 to 25, 1974 and were organized by the Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN).

The 1974 European Swimming Championships included competitions in swimming , art and high diving , synchronized swimming and the men's water polo tournament.
