Cornelia Dörr (born October 23, 1958 in Leipzig ) is a former swimmer who competed for the GDR .
At the 1974 European Championships in Vienna , she was European champion over 800 meters freestyle in a new European record time and took second place over 400 meters freestyle. The following year she was able to take fourth place at the World Swimming Championships in Cali in 1975 .
After failing to qualify for the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal , she ended her swimming career.
