Uschi Freitag (born August 19, 1989 in Maastricht ) is a German-Dutch tower and water diver at the water diving club CitiesRegion Aachen eV (WSC AC). She is currently starting for a Dutch club. She is a student and now lives in the city of Maastricht in the Netherlands .

Uschi Freitag was one of the youngsters at SV Neptun Aachen until September 2010. Since October 2010 she has been a member of the WSC City Region Aachen. Until 2012 she was a member of the DSV national team's senior squad . She is currently starting for the Dutch national team.

In 2005 she won the state championship title in North Rhine-Westphalia from the one and three-meter board in the A-youth. She also became national champion in three-meter synchronized jumping. In 2006 she became German A-Youth Champion on the one-meter board. At the European Youth Championships in Trieste in 2007, she won bronze from the one-meter and three-meter board in addition to a fifth place in synchronized jumping

At the open German championships in Berlin in 2007 , she and her partner took third place in the three-meter synchronized jumping. In 2008 she was German runner-up in Rostock from the one-meter board and the three-meter synchronized jumping. At the German summer championships in Berlin in 2008, Uschi Freitag was German champion on the one-meter board.

At the FINA Grand Prix in Shenzhen in 2008, she was able to achieve her first 20 World Cup points with 15th place on the three-meter board.

At the German summer championships in art and high diving in May 2009 in Aachen, Uschi Freitag took first place with 325.50 points from the 3-meter board ahead of Katja Dieckow from Halle. Through this success she qualified for the world championships in art and high diving in July 2009 in Rome.

Friday achieved her greatest sporting success to date at the 2011 European Championships in Turin , when she won the bronze medal in the 3 m synchronized jumping alongside Katja Dieckow . In the same year, the duo was fifth at the World Championships in Shanghai . In the individual from the 3-meter board, Freitag reached eleventh place. In 2013 she received the silver honorary cup of the city of Aachen for her sporting achievements (the highest award of the city of Aachen for athletes).

At the 2015 World Championships in Kazan (Russia), Uschi Freitag achieved 305.10 points from the three-meter final. In doing so, it surpassed the norm of the NOC * NSF and was nominated for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
