Oleksandr Olehowytsch Horschkowosow ( Ukrainian Олександр Олегович Горшковозов * 18th July 1991 in Luhansk ) is a Ukrainian diver and two-time Olympian (2012, 2016). He starts in the 10 m high diving discipline in individual and together with Olexandr Bondar in synchronized competitions.

Career

Horschkowosow won his first international medal with the bronze medal at the 2009 European Championships in Turin in the 10 m synchronous competition. Two years later he won the silver medal again in Turin in the same competition at the European Championships . Together with Olena Fedorowa , he also won bronze in the team competition.

Horschkowosow has so far participated in three swimming world championships , in 2007 in Melbourne he was fifth and in 2009 in Rome twelfth, each in the 10 m synchronized competition. In the same competition in 2011 in Shanghai he won the bronze medal with Bondar. Due to an injury of Illja Kwascha , he also jumped with his partner Olexij Pryhorow in the 3 m synchronized jumping and achieved sixth place.

In 2006 he was European junior champion in 3 m artificial jumping and third in high diving at the World Junior Championships.

In London at the European Swimming Championships in 2016 , he took third place on the 3 m board in synchronized jumping together with Illja Kwascha .
