European Diving Championships 2009

The 1st European Diving Championships were held from April 1st to 5th, 2009 in Turin , Italy . These were the first European championships that were not held as part of the European swimming championships , but rather separately. The venue was the Monumentale Stadium. From now on, European championships were held annually instead of biennially.

Ten competitions were held, each for women and men individual competitions from the 1 and 3 m board and from the 10 m tower as well as synchronized competitions from the 3 m board and 1 m tower.
